Past Is Past

You get to a certain point in your life when that somebody who’s special to you has had previous experience with significant others prior to you. They might have gone out to places, done things, and shared moments together that you had no control over at the time.

One thing you need to realize for your own benefit is that anything before you is behind them, and there’s not a damn thing you can do to change any of it. The past is past for a reason, and it’s because of that past that you’re able to be with that amazing person here and now. 

There’s a reason why some things in a person’s life are left behind. It’s what gives you the chance to determine what happens right now, in the present. So that maybe you can have some sort of say about what happens in the future.

Day and night at the same time - rare pic

The photograph attached was taken by the crew on board the Columbia during its last mission, on a cloudless day. The picture is of Europe and Africa when the sun is setting. Half of the picture is in night. The bright dots you see are the cities’ lights.

Project Diversity 2011. 

man… how do I even start. This last week brought me tears, headaches, white hair, sleepless nice, but more importantly… it brought me JOY. It was so nice to see a group of kids working together to reach a common goal. I met so many new and amazing people along the way(= It was a great comfort to know  that I wasn’t doing this alone and I had a solid group behind me. I am so proud of you guys and I am forever grateful. There is no doubt in my mind that Class of ‘12 is the BEST. <3
